Reading.... I cant say that reading is my favourite passtime as I rarely find time to fit it in. I also find it hard to get motivated enough to go and borrow a quality book from the library, but when I do decided to borrow a book or get forced by a teacher I find that I actually enjoy it. Usually when it is a good book i can't put it down and spend excessive amounts of time reading.
I enjoy reading the sports section of the paper most mornings and magazines like "zoo" or "FHM", I suppose I don't actually read those last two. Novels that interest me usually have to have sports or people my age in them, I also like reading biographies about people that I know a little about.
The best book that I have ever read would have to be Steve Waugh's Autobiography. The main reason was because it captured sport and other things that interest me. I managed to read this massive book in about 3 days which shows how much I enjoyed it. Well it was either that or the fact that I was staying at my grandparent's house and had nothing better to do.
Well that's about all I have to say about me as a reader so I am going to go and eat or something.

Ok this is a hard one but i think that you should try to find out if your sporting heros have any bibliography because you seemed to enjoy Steve Waughs bibliography. I also sugesst Tracks, Ralph and surfing life magazines.

hey toddy my name is wicksy. I am glad that you enjoyed the Steve Waugh autobiography. is the Steve Waugh autobiography worth reading?I am a bit like you i also read the sports section in newspaper. another thing we have in common is that i also find it very hard to get motivated and go to the libary. A magazine that i recomend is inside sports because you enjoy sport magazines like me
one thing that we dont have in common is that i can always put a book down and do something else.
Hey my name is Steph Rat 13 or Jack.R.
I like your view on what sort of reader you are as it is very accurate and i can easily relate to the type of reader that you are.
I also enjoy reading magazines especially the 2 that you listed, i also recommend that you try reading "RALF" as it seems to be the kind of magazines that you like.
I would also recommend that you try and hire a few more books a bit more often as i was the same as you in that i was never interested in reading a book but once i picked it up i couldnt stop reading. The best thing to do is ask some of your mates for books that they have liked and try them!
Also if your into sports books i recommend that you try "the spirit of the ashes" i have read it and it was pretty good.
Besidses that thaks alot for letting me read your blog and keep on trukkin lol.
